I was getting ready to post when I found out that Whitney Houston passed away. I’m sad and shocked. She’s had problem over the years, but death at 48 is still unexpected.
I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Madonna and Whitney Houston. My school chorus probably sang most of the hit songs by these singers. What child of the late 80′s and early 90′s didn’t want to dance like Michael and sing with soaring voice like Whitney? Who hasn’t tried to sing “The Greatest Love of All?”
Thank you Whitney for your beautiful, inspirational voice, for the memorable songs from my childhood like “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, “I’ll Always Love You” and “How Will I Know.” Thank you for Bodyguard. It wasn’t a great movie, but I loved it anyway.
