Weekly Menu – Asian Week!

It seems I’m into themed menus.  It is all about Asian food this week, kinda Korean, sorta Japanese fusion meals and an Indian.  I know teriyaki chicken was on last Saturday’s menu, but by the end of the week, I was tired, cranky and incapable of cooking.  That’s right, not able to cook in any way.  Just lost the ability.  Poof.  Gone.

Good thing, it came back some time last night, after D prepped all the vegetables.  Otherwise, we would have starved.  Or eaten frozen pizza.

S – Stir-fry Teriyaki Chicken w/rice – I can’t post about it b/c I have no photos and I’ve decided that no photos = no post.

M – Fried Tofu and Broccoli Namul w/rice – These are posted already somewhere.

T – Japanese Curry over pasta, salad with ginger-miso dressing – Cook some veg, potatoes, your choice of meat and add curry blocks.

W – Chana Masala w/Basmati rice and curried squash – I may write this up, or have I already?  Hm, must check index. ETA – made it on Tues instead and no did not have it posted yet.

T – What ever is left-over.

F – Soccer night – Easy Udon Noddle Soup – Pre-packaged noodles that you can get in any decent Asian grocery stores. Boil water, add noodles, add seasoning.  Serve immediately.  I usually fancy it up by adding some vegetables, fish cakes, an egg, etc.

S – Eat out!  Just being realistic based on last week’s experience.  Plus, Saturday is kind of crazy with soccer game, fall festival and church.
